Behind the social media

Behind the campaign

This campaign was created to give an example of how the suits 'n boots event at Mt. Hood Meadows could potentially be promoted. The stained glass concept was chosen to enhance the beauty of the mountain in the spring when you can enjoy both the sun and snow. The stained glass style material would catch the sun and spread its colors over the snow, making it more like art than promotional material.

Services: Branding

Suit 'n Boots is a fundraising event thrown in the spring time at Mt.Hood Meadows in partnership with a vendor, last year's partner was Kona Brewing Co. This event is basically a costume party on the mountain, you can wear any suit you want, your bathing suit or a three piece suit, any suit goes except your birthday suit.

Behind the event

The Suit 'n Boot campaign social media section would be an important element in reaching a large portion of the target audience. The content covers posts that will be used before, during, and after the event. The posts also show how sponsors and partners would use their accounts in the same manner to further the exposure. The filter would be used at and after the event and displays any user in the art stained glass style of the event.

Behind the collateral

The wind flags would be made from a semi translucent material that would allow some sunlight to pass through and show colors on the ground like real stained glass. Posters for the event placed indoors would be presented in light box frames to mimic the sun and provide the same effect. The shirts would be made from a material that changes from black and white to full color when in the sun to bring the stained glass art in the sun concept to life.

Inspiration

Stained glass was the inspiration for the concept of this event because of how it harnesses the sun to flood the area with beautiful colors. I wanted to take advantage of that ability for this outdoor event for outdoor sports and present it in a new way.

After blocking out the main colors of the Mt.Hood reference image, the base color palette was made to go well together. After the initial colors were selected, each was tweaked to fit the strong colors usually found in stained glass. These two typefaces are the ones used in the Mt.Hood Meadows logo and thus were used to make this campaign cohesive with the current branding.

"I used Ayanna to build my website, and she did what I wanted. She was there for me when I needed help. She is there for you if you have questions and for support. I really enjoyed working with Ayanna. She's always there for you. "

-Katy cordrey: internship mentor at meadow outdoor advertising

Ayanna completed an educational internship under my supervision. She is a competent designer, intelligent, and intellectually curious. Her willingness to learn and adjust to new situations made her stand out and a joy to work with. No matter the graphic design need, Ayanna will be a team asset. She is self-motivated, looks for the big picture without missing the details, is considerate of team members' time, and works to deadlines very well. I can enthusiastically recommend her for employment and would not hesitate to hire her if I had an open position.

-DInora trejo: the gorge e-bike adventure rentals

Miss, Ayanna did an excellent work for me, designing a logo, website and setting me up with square among other material. Miss Ayanna was great to work with from star to finished . She is very professional and I highly recommend her.

-Grace W: Grace Clay Co

Ayanna was so great to work with! I explained my vision with her and she gave me exactly what I was looking for. She allowed me to choose from several options before finalizing my logo. And she set me up with a print shop for business cards and earring cards. She made the process incredibly easy.

- Levi l: wedding invite design

We really appreciated how she executed our design and the communication throughout. We struggled at times to know how to word what we had envisioned but she was able to ask good follow up questions that left us all satisfied.
